One of my favorite weddings to date, Julie and Nick decided to have a relaxed micro wedding on The Redwood Deck at Hoyt Arboretum in Portland. The couple and their five guests were treated to a beautiful July afternoon amongst ancient redwoods and lush florals. I LOVE when my clients give me free reign to design florals. We decided on flowers that showcased "The Best of the Northwest" choosing to stick to locally grown blooms. I was able to source some beautiful ginger colored peonies, foxgloves, cardoon sprays, dill and hanging amaranthus. The couple and guests headed to an early dinner at The Chart House and finished the evening off with a phenomenal cake from Sweetheart St. Johns.
