Garden of Eden

Updated: Dec 1, 2020

This shoot has everything. Snakes, pomegranates, and a stunning tree of roses. I had so much fun creating the florals for this Garden of Eden inspired editorial. For the centerpiece and bouquet I used a combination of two of my favorite garden roses, Renee and Koko Loko from local grower, Peterkourt Roses. I was very happy to find my "forbidden fruit" of pomegranates at the flower market. When it came time to make the boutonniere I wanted to give a nod to our delightful snake models so I layered delicate white flowers into a curving "s" form to be laid on the lapel. I had such a blast working with all of the talented vendors who were a part of this shoot. Check out our creative team below and our feature on The White Wren.
